Michigan Opera Theatre 2018-19 Season

September 26 – November 25, 2018.

March 24 – May 19, 2019.

The M.O.T. orchestra performs four operas and one ballet each season, with an average of 10 services per production.

A typical MOT opera production orchestra schedule:

Week 1

Rehearsal 1– Sunday 2pm-5pm

Rehearsal 2– Tuesday 7pm-10pm

Rehearsal 3– Thursday 7pm-10pm

Rehearsal 4– Saturday 2pm-5pm

 

Week2

Dress Rehearsal 1 – Tuesday 7:30pm-10:45pm

Dress Rehearsal 2 – Thursday 11am–2:30pm

Performance 1 – Saturday 7:30pm

 

Week 3

Performance 2 – Wednesday 7:30pm

Performance 3 – Friday 7:30pm

Performance 4 – Sunday 2:30pm

Michigan Opera Theatre 2018-19 Season

$162.24/Rehearsal, $175.74/Dress rehearsal, $215.64/Performance. Principal Premium 25% Doubling 20% A.F.M. pension fund 10.9%.

M.O.T. orchestra members are occasionally utilized for other presentations at the Detroit Opera House that may occur outside of the regular M.O.T. season schedule.

Detroit Opera House 2018-19 Season

$126.70/Rehearsal, $196.37/Performance. Premiums and Doubling 12%.  A.F.M. pension fund 13.99%.
