DETROIT, Michigan, April 18, 2007…Michigan Opera Theatre is proud to celebrate Mother’s Day and honor military personnel with two special offers to performances of Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio May 13, 16 and 19, 2007.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with mom and MOT with performances of The Abduction from the Seraglio May 13 at 2:30 p.m. and May 16 at 7:30 p.m. With the purchase of one full-price ticket to either the May 13 or 16 performances, mom receives a free ticket. To receive this special, patrons must mention the Mother’s Day offer when purchasing tickets over the phone by calling (313) 237-SING or in person at the Detroit Opera House ticket office (1526 Broadway, Detroit, 48226).
Commemorate Armed Forces Day on May 19 at 7:30 p.m. with a performance of The Abduction from the Seraglio. All military personnel with valid ID are can receive free tickets to this performance. Patrons must present valid military ID in person at the Detroit Opera House ticket office (1526 Broadway, Detroit, 48226) to receive this offer.
