Michigan Opera Theatre’s 6th Annual Golf Outing To Be Held Monday, June 26, 2006, At Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club, Clarkston, Michigan

DETROIT, Michigan, May 19, 2006…Golf enthusiasts interested in playing for a good cause will surely enjoy Michigan Opera Theatre’s 6th annual golf outing. The event will be held Monday, June 26, 2006, at Shepherd’s Hollow Golf Club. All proceeds from the outing will benefit Michigan Opera Theatre’s award-winning educational and community outreach programs.

Golfers can enjoy a buffet lunch, locker room and range privileges, 18 holes of golf with a cart, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner for just $295. The outing will also include prizes for longest drive, closest to the hole and straightest drive, as well as awards for first and second place finishes. Michigan Opera Theatre, in conjunction with Dwyer and Sons Volvo Subaru, Dalgleish Cadillac and Al Long Ford, will offer three vehicle leases as hole-in-one prizes. Those interested in participating in the benefit without playing golf are invited for dinner only, for just $100.

The outing will kick off with a buffet luncheon at 11:00 a.m. on June 26. Shotgun starts will begin at 12:00 p.m., at 5:45 there will be a million dollar hole-in-one contest and dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
