SERIES W: $180 - IN THE WINGS SUBSCRIPTION (OPERA)
Everyone knows there’s not a bad seat in the Detroit Opera House. So if you're on a budget, a special section is now available at a deeply discounted rate. Here’s how it works: select your preferred full performance series of Wednesday or Friday for $180 and you can see all four operas on the Main Floor – a savings of up to 75%. Seats for Series W are located on the Main Floor off of Aisles 5 and 6 in the Inner Circle and Orchestra sections of the theater and will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. SERIES Q: $75 - SATURDAY DISCOUNT SERIES (DANCE)
A special section is now available at a deeply discounted rate for Saturday dance performances. Simply request Series Q when ordering your subscription (by telephone, in person or mail only). This special subscription enables you to see Saturday evening Pilobolus, Ballet Hispanico and Tchaikovsky Ballet at a drastically reduced rate – a savings of up to 50%. Seats for this series are located on the side aisles of the main floor (accessible by aisles 5 and 6) and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. SERIES X: $120 - FIRST TIMERS MINI-SUBSCRIPTION (OPERA)
Becoming a subscriber for the first time is a big decision. So to make it easier on you (and your wallet), a special subscription for first-time subscribers is now available on Wednesday evenings. Series X was developed specifically for new opera subscribers. First-timers enjoy a savings of 60% off the price of single tickets and all the benefits that a subscriber receives. Here’s how it works: select the three operas of your choice and you can sit in the Orchestra section of the theater for less than $45 per opera! ADVANCE PURCHASE PRIVILEGES
Subscribers receive priority, pre-public sale opportunities to purchase additional single tickets for opera and dance performances, as well as special events.
FAMILY SERIES
Deeply discounted full subscriptions are available to families for as little as $15 per ticket, per performance (i.e., see all four operas or dance performances for $60). Family discounts are available for full opera subscriptions (Wednesday and Friday performance series) or full dance subscriptions (Saturday performance series). Seating and age restrictions apply. CREATE YOUR OWN SERIES
If a structured series does not fit within your busy schedule, you may create your own series. By selecting a Flex Subscription Series of two or three operas or dances, you become a subscriber and are entitled to subscriber benefits. DISTANCE DISCOUNT
 As a special “thank you” to our many visitors who travel more than 80 miles one way to attend an opera or dance performance, the Michigan Opera Theatre invites commuting guests to take an additional 10% off the already discounted price of a subscription. This offer is only valid for subscription tickets.
EXCHANGE PRIVILEGES/LOST TICKETS
Subscribers may exchange tickets for any opera performance up to 48 hours before the performance (based on availability). Subscribers may exchange an entire subscription one time, free of charge. Subsequent changes incur an $8 service fee per exchanged ticket. Subscribers who misplace their tickets are issued a replacement voucher for free – to be picked up at Will Call.
