Student and senior dress rehearsals are a cost-effective way for student and senior groups to attend opera and dance performances at the Detroit Opera House. These special dress rehearsals of full Michigan Opera Theatre productions are available to student groups for $10 per student, and to senior groups for $25 per senior.

What is a group?

A “group” group consists of ten (10) or more individuals. Tickets must be purchased 24 hours prior to the performance/dress rehearsal date.

Group Prices
Student admission price: $10.00
Senior admission price: $25.00

Non-group Admission Prices
Consists of less than ten (10) individuals. Non-group admission may be purchased to any 2010-2011 Student Senior performance and dress rehearsal for a price of $35.00 per person the day of the performance only.

 Parking
Parking is available at the new Opera House Parking Center with entrances on both John R. and Grand River Streets.

Bus Parking
Buses are to disembark passengers at the Madison Ave. entrance to the Detroit Opera House. Each bus will be greeted by an Opera House staff member and assigned a bus number and parking location. Please remember your bus number, as that number will be used to dismiss groups at the end of the performance.
