-VOLUNTEER
Opera is the ultimate theatrical experience because it encompasses so many elements on one stage: vocal and orchestral music, drama, costumes, sets and lighting. The achievements of this multiplicity require many voices and many willing hands. The talented, giving hands of our ushers, Opera House ambassadors, Opera Boutique and office workers, Education and Outreach members, Young Professionals, Divas, DOH Dance Council and the Opera League of Detroit volunteers have a significant impact on the overall operation of the Company. Come join us! The time you invest will be small when compared to the amount we can accomplish together. We look forward to welcoming you to our family of special friends, and remember—your support does make a difference. Volunteers are the heart of Michigan Opera Theatre.
Membership in the Volunteer Association is $35 annually; $25 for Ushers. Student membership is $10 with valid student I.D.
