*Ages 16-adult, must have 5 years ballet experience.
Completion of intensive at instructor's discretion.

Dress Code: Black Leotard, pink tights, ballet flats and pointe shoes

(warm ups must be taken off at teachers discretion)

GIUSEPPE CANALE: born in Italy, Mr. Canale received his training at the National Academy of Dance in Rome, Maurice Bejarts "MUDRA" dance school in Belgium and at the School of American Ballet. Mr. Canale has toured extensively with such companies as Maurice Bejart’s Ballet of the 20th Century, Ballet Company of Jean Deroc, Ballet Company of Germinal Casado and Het National Ballet in Amsterdam where he became the artistic director in 1994. He is currently the co-Director of the Northeast Academy of Dance and has been on faculty with the American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive Program for five years.

Dress Code: Any solid colored leotard and tan or black tights. Jazz shoes and clean, nonmarking dance sneakers. Warm-ups permitted during hip hop.

ERIN LAMONT: graduating from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in dance, Lamont has worked as a dancer for Holland American Lines and is an established dancer/choreographer/model in Los Angeles where her credits include choreographing for Sketchers, Norwegian Cruise Lines, 2006 LA Design Week, the LA Clippers, recording artist Natalia and ESPN half time shows. She is currently on faculty at EDGE Performing arts Center as a jazz teacher. Lamont will be touring internationally throughout 2008/2009 with performance and choreographic engagements.

CHRISTOPHER HUGGINS: born in Boston MA, Mr. Huggins received his training at the State University of New York at Purchase and at the Julliard School at Lincoln Center. He has been a guest artist for many companies but is best know for his time spent with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Since his departure from Ailey, Mr. Huggins has choreographed in five European countries, Japan and throughout the US. He has recently choreographed for Ailey II and is currently an Artist in Residence at the Ailey School. He will also be choreographing for Philidanco at the end of April.

After checking in for morning technique class, dancers are not permitted to leave the premises until the end of the day.

Dancers can buy lunch at the Opera House Café or should pack a healthy lunch.
