Michigan Opera Theatre Announces Auditions
for the following positions beginning Spring 2012:
2nd Bassoon/Contra Bassoon
Principal Timpani
2 – Section Violins
Section Cello
Principal Oboe

Auditions are at 11am according to the following schedule:
Bassoon on February 1
Timpani on February 2
Violin on February 8
Cello on February 9
Oboe on February 15, 2012.

The Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra performs four operas and one ballet each season, with an average of 10 services per production.  Season pay rate as of September, 2011: $137.18/reh., $148.60/dress reh., and $182.32/perf., Principal 20%, Doubling 12.5%.  AFM pension fund 11%.
